In February of 2008, eight parishioners participated in a mission trip to Honduras. They were presented with mission crosses on the Sunday before they left: the next Sunday they were participating in a parish Eucharist in Tegucigalpa. During the week they worked on projects from road mending and sewing to building a chicken coop at a residence for around fifty abandoned and abused children run by the Latin American Missionary and Bible Institute. They also visited a school and nursery run by LAMB.
