Our mission is to represent the body of the Christian church in the world, in worship, in public works.

The work of this parish involves the effort to connect everyone to God, and to connect with each other, through the message of Christ, which is a message of love and reconciliation, a way of peace, a commitment to restoring each other and the earth itself through careful practice of Christian tenets, prayer, worship, and community involvement. 

St. Stephen’s has a strong and extensive outreach program. Outreach Funds are raised principally through our annual Peasant Market, and distributed by the Outreach Committee as grants in support of local, national and international causes. For many years the parish has honored a commitment to tithing its operating expenses.
