Rug Hooking for Peasant Market 2011
Since the beginning of the year, St. Stephen's members of all ages and ranges of experience have gathered to hook a rug which was raffled during this year's Peasant Market on Saturday, July 9th. Both the adaptation of this leaf rug design and all of the supplies were graciously provided by the creator of the Oxford punch needle and fellow parishioner Amy Oxford. Amy has also been on hand for most of the sessions to lend guidance and support to participants on their way to finishing this masterpiece. Like all Peasant Market revenue, ticket proceeds benefitted parish outreach programs.
