Peasant Market 2010
After a rainy night the morning skies of Peasant Market 2010, July 10, cleared and slowly the day glowed with a very welcome change of weather. Gone was the excessive heat of the previous few days. The usual large early morning crowd waiting for the tape to be removed and the PM to start was about half of what one might have expected. Not to worry because of the rain people came later and we had a steady crowd all day.
The amount raised was over $26,000, all of which, after deducting for expenses, will be given away by the Rector and the Vestry with the advice of the Outreach Committee. It is very satisfying to know that our combined efforts can make a difference locally, nationally and internationally.
