Worship

All in church worship services are suspended due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Please join us for the ZOOM online worship, education, meditation and other unique offerings found on the HOME page.

We invite you to worship with us. (Currently on Zoom only)

Saint Stephen’s offers many opportunities for you to worship God and be joyful. Our 8:00 a.m. service is quiet and our 10:30 a.m. is full of music and is followed by a coffee hour for socializing.  We are an inclusive church and welcome everyone to join our worship service and become a part of our church family.

All who are seeking a deeper relationship with Christ are invited to share in the communion.  At the proper time in the service, ushers direct the congregants to the altar to receive communion. If you desire to receive a blessing rather than communion simply cross your arms across your chest. To receive gluten-free bread please inform the server at the time of communion. To receive grape juice instead of wine please go to the baptism side of the altar rail (right). There, inform the server at the time of communion.

We are handicap accessible: There is an elevator in the reception area opposite the Parish Administrator’s Office.  Take the door next to the Baptismal Font.  A wheelchair and personal amplification devices are available for those who need them. See an usher for assistance. There are restrooms on all three floors.

We welcome children at St. Stephen’s!

–  Godly Play, a wonderful program to teach children Bible stories, is offered each Sunday during our regular schedule at the 10:30 service.

–    Children’s “activity bags” are available on the hooks at the back of the church and there is a special place in front of the first row of seats for children and their parents.
