Get Ready for Peasant Market 2022

By Linda Horn

It’s time to start thinking about Peasant Market!  Yay! To that end everyone, especially booth chairs, is invited to a meeting April 3 right after the second service.  At this meeting we will confirm some changes, brainstorm additions, and help me stay on the right track.  The big day is July 9.

I am incredibly pleased to announce that all but one of the booth chair positions is filled.  More on that below.  The chairs this year are as follows:

We are still in need of a White Elephant chair, but did you notice a new booth--Kitchen Corner?  We are splitting up White Elephants.  All the kitchen stuff will be in it’s own booth.  Everything else, truly the white elephants, will be at that table.  The job will be much more manageable.  Anyone interested?

As readers can already see, it takes the whole congregation to pull off Peasant Market and, of course, all the money we raise we give away to charity.  If you don’t already have a PM job, let me know!  All of these booths will also need people to help price and clean and work on the day. The best part of Peasant Market, to me, is the comradery and fellowship when working on a common cause.  It is actually fun!
