Ways to give

We invite you to support St. Stephen’s

with a financial contribution

Please consider making a Giving Goal Card to support the ongoing work of the church through our Annual Fund. Find a Giving Goal Card for 2024 here. It’s easy: Print out and fill in the card. Then deliver or mail it to the Church Office at 3 Main Street, Middlebury, VT 05753; or you can e-mail it to the Pledge Secretary, Beth Stanway, at BethStanway@gmail.com. Giving Goal Cards are held strictly, privately, and are shared with no one else. Privacy is assured.

There are many ways to send your financial gifts:

●       Gifts by check: Make checks payable to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and mail to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 3 Main Street, Middlebury, VT 05753.

●       AUTOPAY/BILLPAY: This service from your bank is an easy way to make a recurring gift to St. Stephen’s. Give weekly, monthly or any other schedule you determine.

●    Give Online: Click the Donate button below to donate directly to St. Stephen's using PayPal or a credit card.

Other ways to give include:

• If you take minimum distributions (RMD) from an IRA or retirement fund, talk with your retirement or financial advisor about how you might give directly from one of these accounts with possible tax advantages. Should you decide to make such a gift, please contact the St. Stephen’s Treasurer through the Church Office (802-388-7200) as these gifts require special acknowledgments to comply with IRS requirements.

• Legacy or planned giving, typically through a bequest or a charitable trust, establishes a way to provide for family members while remembering the church as well. 

You may designate your giving for a specific ministry area, including:

• Annual Fund

• The Rector’s Discretionary Fund

• Feeding the Hungry

• St. Stephen’s Building Fund

• St. Stephen’s Endowment Fund
